Thai Boxing Academy was established in the summer of 2002 and is now
the premier school for Muay Thai (thai boxing) for the Calderdale area.
Situated in the centre of Halifax the school which is affiliated to
the International Thai Boxing Federation (I.T.B.F) has links to Master
A’s, Manchester and other affiliated clubs in Huddersfield, Leeds,
Bradford to name but a few. Our instructors pride themselves in teaching
the highest standard of thai boxing and already we have produced an
amateur English Freestyles Champion and a women’s professional
Muay Thai champion but are equally as proud of our regular members who
want nothing more than to train for there own personal goals.
Muay Thai is an excellent way for men and women of all ages and of course
children to get fit, build confidence, learn self defence and discipline.
Calder Thai Boxing Academy strives to provide a safe, friendly and fun
environment for you to achieve all your targets whether you are a raw
beginner or a top professional competitor!
